GRILL PAN DESIGNS FOR THE PERFECT GRILLING EXPERIENCE

For the 2023 season, OUTDOORCHEF sought to expand its accessories portfolio with a collection of grill pans. WAEGLI DESIGN was not only tasked with designing cast-iron and carbon steel pans in two sizes but also creating a universal carbon steel lid that fits all models. Ensuring compatibility with OUTDOORCHEF grills while accounting for high temperatures up to 600°C (1110°F) was paramount to our design process.

Throughout the entire product development journey, WAEGLI DESIGN was deeply involved, lending our expertise and attention to detail at every stage, from the initial design concept to the indispensable design for manufacturing (DFM) support. Furthermore, WAEGLI DESIGN not only created high-quality visualizations but also captivating packaging artwork to support OUTDOORCHEF’s marketing and sales efforts.

CARBON STEEL PANS

Introducing the carbon steel pan collection from OUTDOORCHEF, available in two convenient sizes - the smaller 24 cm diameter (9.5 inches) and the larger 28 cm diameter (11 inches) pan. Like their cast-iron counterparts, these carbon steel pans offer a range of exceptional benefits for your culinary endeavors. Harnessing the benefits of carbon steel, these pans boast a high heat tolerance and conductivity, ensuring a consistent performance. Furthermore, its durability and lightweight makes this the perfect material for even the most demanding grilling adventures. Finally, the non-stick properties of carbon steel are further enhanced by the hammered pattern on the pan's base.

To enhance safety and convenience, both pan sizes feature an ingeniously designed long handle that can be easily detached and reattached with just one hand. This unique feature allows for safe removal from the grill and effortless handling. By removing the handle, these pans are perfectly suited for use on the grill, even with a closed grill lid when temperatures reach their highest peaks. The handle's design harmoniously complements the innovative BBQ Cleaning Tools that WAEGLI DESIGN crafted exclusively for OUTDOORCHEF's 2023 season.

Designed by WAEGLI DESIGN, this universal carbon steel lid effortlessly fits both sizes of the cast iron and carbon steel pans. Meticulously crafted embossments not only provide structural stability but also play a vital role in achieving the perfect fit on each pan. This attention to detail guarantees a seamless and snug connection, allowing for optimal heat retention and precise airflow control.

To withstand the high temperatures within a closed grill, the lid's handle is crafted from resilient steel. This durable construction not only withstands the intense heat but also complements the lid's large centric embossment pattern flawlessly. As a testament to our commitment to branding, the handle proudly features the iconic OUTDOORCHEF logo, adding a touch of brand recognition to the grilling ritual.
